The following additional information was offered to the G-PAS on 30th October 2007 for eventual regional synthesis.
SAMOA'S PRIORITY PROJECTS FOR THE GPAS -ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This is an indicative listing only, eventually to be synthesized by the G-PAS Side Event in Bali on 5th December, 2007.
An estimated $USD200million worth of projects were tabled, over-subscribed 2-fold. Attempts are being made to rationalize regional efforts, group Implementing Agencies, acknowledging country driveness and meet the absorptive capacity of each Pacific Island Country (PIC).
The results of this synthesis prior to the Bali G-PAS Side Event are tabled in the next posting for your consideration and comment.
